Welcome to The Clans!
This site had been in and out of fashion for a while now, but is now on a hiatus while I fix it up.
Links to Look At: Rules Adoptable Cats Adoptable Cats (2)
OK, basically the site is under-going quite a few changes.
Your lovely admin is replacing the main table with these sleeker side menus, and is learning how to write more concisely, so that they don't stretch the page either. Hopefully, when the site comes out of its hiatus, you'll find it a much better place to role-play in.
As a note: I've deleted all the accounts, aside from the g-mods and mods' accounts, so if you're trying to log in, that would be why. Re-joining is encouraged... Once the site is up to scratch again.
Green-Leaf/Summer Currently, the season is summer. All the Clans are beginning to feel the warmth that green-leaf brings, and the prey has returned... well, not really. There is still as much prey as there was in leaf-bare. But sun and blue skies do wonders for the spirits, and the Clans are feeling rather optimistic.
Temperature: Between seventeen to twenty degrees (Celcius).
Wind: Gentle north-east breezes.
Skies: Clear, with patchy white clouds.
Nights: Chill. Mostly clear and good for watching the skies. Little too frosty for patrols, though.
Information Where you learn all about us... Here we have the rules, bio code, and lots of other information that I swear you will find useful. Moderator: <Fallen>:.
Activity I realised (eventually) that we need one of these even if only I use it. So here it is, the board you post on if you're going to be away. Moderator: <Fallen>:.

What a Cat Wants If you need a mentor, an apprentice, a lover, or a murderer, here's the place to come. If you have too many kitties, you can leave them here for someone else to adopt and take over. You many not role-play them after that. Moderator: <Fallen>:.
Belonging If you've got more cats than you know what to do with, post a list of them here. Include whatever information you like; it's just a useful section for both you any others to find out what cats you have. Moderators: <Fallen>:., Count Mikeula, Paddywhack

Training Hollow As the name suggests, a place for mentors to train their cubs. The soft, sandy ground and thick branches above make it safe, secure, and cool, even in the heat of a green-leaf sun-high. Moderators: <Fallen>:., Count Mikeula

Owl Tree Ezylryb lives in this tree with many, many other owls. It is by far the largest tree in the area, even surpassing the mighty trees in ForestClan territory. There are roots growing in a strange shape up the back of the tree so that cats can easily climb up. Not many cats go to visit the wise owl, though, as the forest cats have always been a little in awe of the large birds, who used to carry away straying kits in the night. Burning Plains The main hunting area of FireClan. This wide, dry-grass plain undulates gently, but for the most part it is very smooth, broken here and there only by a small wood or the occasional rocky outcrop. It's a good place to find rabbits, birds and, perhaps, the occasional snake. Moderator: <Fallen>:.

StormClan's Camp Where StormClan make their home. It is not to dissimilar to ShadowClan's camp. StormClan's however, is in a shallow ravine with a stream running by it. Moderator: <Fallen>:.

Fighter's Cavern Here the cubs of StormClan train. It is in a deep gorge, accessible only through a side passage in the StormClan camp. It is thought by the other Clans that the stony nature of the StormClan cats can be owed to rough training in their cub-hood; the ground here is hard and rocky, though smooth. All the more incentive to stop your mentor flipping you, I suppose?

The Thicket In the thick, shadowy forests of StormClan, this is just another area of thicket. But this particular area has long been popular with insects... and so birds and small insect-eating animals. With a lot of twisting, perhaps you could catch something? Only the most skilled and agile of hunters are able to catch anything here. Moderator: <Fallen>:.

Sunlit Grove Amazing! Sunlight in StormClan territory! To find this small open space, go north-east from your camp, and you'll see bright sunlight shining through the trees. The forest is slowly trying to reclaim the clearing, but hopefully it will last for many more seasons. Moderator: <Fallen>:.

RiverClan Camp Where RiverClan make their home. It is in the middle of the river, which only flows quickly in new-leaf and is easy enough to cross, provided you have an RiverClan's swimming ability. It's a very useful boundary to stop kits from straying. Moderators: <Fallen>:., Paddywhack

Stream-Lined A spot especially chosen by the first Warriors to venture from the Old Clans. A stream runs past a pebble-lined bank, with many large boulders further back; beyond that there is a leafy corner under a bank in which to train. The uneven surfaces, combined with the even area, means that RiverClan fighters are always well-prepared for any kind of fighting conditions. Especially wet ones! Moderator: Paddywhack

Meadows To the north-west of RiverClan, you can find the Meadows. These are a large expanse of sparsely forested grassland, near the Thunder Path. It's a good place to look for rabbits and other burrowing animals; with a RiverClan cat's quick reflexes, they shouldn't be too hard for a skilled fighter to catch. Moderators: <Fallen>:., Paddywhack

Diamond Ripples A beautiful place not far off the river. In fact, it is the river that feeds the small lakelet. If you take your love to this place at moon-high, the moon is reflected perfectly in its waters, and on a clear night, the stars dance on the ripples. It seems a truly magical place. ForestClan's Camp Here, ForestClan make their home. The leader lives in a hollow tree, while the others make their homes in deeply-dug dens (alliteration!) around a huge pine tree in the center of their camp. Moderators: <Fallen>:., aragorn

Forestlight's Peak It is here that, long ago, a Seer apprentice came here to look down on all the Clans. She climbed all the way up the huge mountainside all on her own, and sat at the very top, on the ridge between FreeClan's territory and the land that belonged to no-cat. From here, you can see the sea to your back, and going down in front of you, ForestClan's trees, and all the way to Tallplace. A good spot to hear the hawks crying. Moderators: <Fallen>:., aragorn

Ripped Leaf Clearing Long ago it is said that a warrior from StarClan called Rippedpaw and a fighter from FreeClan named Spiralpaw met each other on a patrol. Though the two were from different Clans, they became good friends, and soon slipped away as often as they could to talk and share gossip between the not-so-different worlds of the Clans. But after a while, two of the leaders heard about their friendships, and were about to exile the pair, when the FreeClan leader saw how the two cats stood together, proud and noble, and no matter what happened, she realised that the two would still be friends. Despite the protests of her fellow leaders, she talked to the StarClan leader, and they agreed that the two would be allowed to meet there, and there alone. They trained long and hard together, and soon were better than most warriors. The Leaders noticed this, and each apprentice was called to their leader to be given a warrior name, and though they looked no older, it was in fact the time for the ceremony anyway. Spiralleaf and Rippedheart met back there one patrol day, and it was then that they realised that they would have to be apart. Their warrior and fighter-hoods had made them different. So the two sealed the place with their blood, and vowed that each of their Clans would meet in peace there one day. The day has not happened there, but their combined blood is supposed to have fed the huge oak that now stands in the clearing and sheds its leaves to make a perfect training area, no matter what the season. Wide Forests This is the main hunting area of ForestClan. Although all of their territory is forested, this area, northern-most from the river and the furthest from the other Clans, is usually pretty prey-rich. Agility and intelligence is required when hunting here. Moderator: <Fallen>:.

Tall Place Any time a leader goes to the Tall Place, they come here. Only seers, their apprentices and the leaders may come here; if anyone else does, it is with these cats. Tall Place is a huge mountain, once a volcano, that stands just to the west of FireClan territory. StormClan, RiverClan and ForestClan must cross the river to climb it, but FireClan have always been helpful, and a Twoleg bridge is used for the other Clans' comings and goings. Freedom-Place So named because here, all leaders and seers of the Clans have a right to speak freely. Fighters are welcomed to share their opinion, but must be silent when asked. The trees cover the light from view, making it impossible to see the moon or stars at night, but that cats know that FreeClan will still walk with them. The Rock, Boulder, Branch and Hill, where the leaders each sit, are individual, and similar to those that a leader speaks from in his or her own Clan. There is enough room for many cats, but not enough for more than nine from each Clan in this leafy hollow. Moderators: <Fallen>:., aragorn, Paddywhack
